Design has always felt natural to me for two reasons: it allows me to use my problem solving skills to brainstorm potential solutions, which in turn affords me the opportunity to execute ideas in a creative and thoughtful way. There is something so satisfying about letting your imagination work freely to grasp and pull an idea, seemingly, out of thin air.
This kind of inspiration led me to the University of Cincinnati where I am currently a senior Graphic Communication Design student in the College of Design, Architecture, Art, and Planning. My primary interests are in branding and identity design, but I am open to the many opportunities and experiences within other aspects of the design field.
On any given weekend, you can find me out playing disc golf because it's a great alternative to actual golf, which is not my forté. I'm also a huge sports fan and avid baseball player. As a die-hard Cleveland sports fan, I am familiar with many levels of heartache (and yes, I still root for the Browns). I enjoy getting outdoors to explore and hike through our national parks and mountain ranges. And I've completed four 14ers out in Colorado—only 49 more to go.
